Former Harley College Vice Principal Vallipuram Passes away

Former Vice pricipal of Point Pedro Hartley College, Mr.Ramalingam Vallipuram, passed away peacefully today in London, at the age of 98.
Mr.Vallipuram, born in Valvettithurai, served as the Vice principal of Hartley college in mid 80's. Mr.Vallipuram, a much-respected person, voluntarily served as the President of Valvai Nediyakadu Pillaiyar temple's Trust committee in late 80's.
Following the ethnic conflict in Srilanka, Mr Vallipuram displaced in early 90's, and lived in Singapore and UK.
It may be noted that one of Mr.Vallipuram sons, Ramesan, joined Tamil Tigers in Mid 80's and died during an attack on KKS Military camp in 1990.
