Opening ceremony of Northern provincial hydrological research centre (NPHRC) held at Thondaimanaru

Opening ceremony of the Northern Provincial Hydrological Research Centre (NPHRC) was held yesterday evening on 16th October 2014 at Thondaimanaru. Mr.C.V.Vikneswaran, Chief Minister - Northern Provincial Council had declared open the NPHRC, where Mr.Sritharan (Member of Parliament), Northern Provincial Minister of Agriculture P.Ainkaranesan, Dr. Pathmanathan Sathiyalingam Minister of Health and Indigenous Medicine and members of NPC Mr.Arnold, Mr.Kajatheepan, Mr.Paranjothi, Mr.Suhirthan were present at the event.
The NPHRC of Thondaimanaru is siad to be the first Hydrological Research Centre formed in Northern Srilanka, which could facilitate to test water for any bacterial and provide a full water analysis report.
