Valvettithurai based twenty three years old Miss Yazhini Murugathas becomes a Court of Advocate in London today, 30th September 2014.
Yazhini has obtained her postgraduate degree in law (LLM - Master in Law) at UCL (University College of London) in this year 2014, and previously She has completed her undergraduate degree in law with honours (LLB: Bachelor of laws) at BPP Law School, London in 2013.
Within a month of completion of her Masters thesis in Mental Health and Criminal Law under the supervision of Professor Ian Dennis (the world renowned expert in Criminal law and the law of Evidence) at UCL, Yazhini had undergone and passed a training and assessment period, and qualified today as a County Court Advocate in UK.
Commencing from30th September 2014 onwards, Yazhini will represent claimants and conduct hearings before a Judge in various areas of civil law in Croydon County Court.
It may be noted that Yazhini's grand father late Mr.Arul Pirakasam is a well known sports of all rounder from Valvettithurai, Srilanka.
