Orikadu Netkozhu ground case adjourned to February

The Point Pedro district court chaired by Mrs.Srinithi Nantha kumar on Tuesday, 28th October 2014 have adjourned the case pertaining to a ground of 14 acres, which is being used as a play ground for last 75 years. The case has been adjourned to next February 3rd of 2015.
The petitioner Mr.Kirshnapillai Varnabalasundram had file the case against the Members of Eagle sports club namely Mr.K.Sathees, who is the deputy chairman of Valvettithurai Urban council and Mr.T.Selvarasa and Valvettithurai Urban council.
It should be noted that during the hearing of the case no one had represented the Valvettithurai Urban council, instead of it, an official letter had been sent to the petitioner by the present Chairman, stating that neither Chairmen nor secretaries who became in power after Mr.Sivajilingam’s tenure, as he (Mr.Sivajilingam) is responsible for the said activities.
