Anantha Yogalaya participates on 1st World Yogasana at Ahmedabad

At the 1st World Yogasana Championship 2026, held in Ahmedabad, India, from June 4 to 8, Ms. Jayanthini Jeyanthan won the Silver Medal in the Senior Traditional Group Event.
In the 35–45 years age category:
Mrs. Geetha Kesavan secured 4th place in the Hand Balance event.
Mrs. Tharsini Jeyanthan secured 4th place in the Backward Bend event.
Mrs. Jalarambai Vinoth secured 4th place in the Twisting event.
More than 500 athletes from over 70 countries participated in the championship.
The Sri Lankan competitors took part in the event under the auspices of the Sri Lanka Yogasana Sports Federation.
These achievements bring pride to Anantha Yogalaya and highlight the growing international presence of Sri Lankan Yogasana athletes.
